The house was rebuilt in 16th century, same as neighbouring houses after fire in 1541, according to early-baroque project of Kryštof Dientzenhofer. It was bought in 1601 by Kašpar, brother of Kaplí? from Sulevice, executed on the Old Town Square. The house acquired developed baroque shape during 1705 - 1727, when it was owned by a famous baroque architect Jan Santini Aichel. From his work preserved just curly cornices to these days. When Santini died, renowned goldsmith Diesbach bought the house in auction sale and built up third floor.

Left entrance is completed by a Medusa relief, beyond the right entrance, there is a cartouche and a small head next to it. Above the second floor windows, there is an oval cartouche with the painting of Virgin Mary and the Holy Trinity. Functional sundial is placed on the façade in the inner block.

Town house served his tenants until 2002, when it was closed. At the same time very sensitive reconstruction of the whole property began. Thanks to it, you have the possibility to admire authentic wooden ceilings, ribbed vaults, wall fresco paintings and original porcelain stove.
