Location

Originally opened as the Alcron Hotel in 1932, the luxurious and elegant five star Radisson SAS Alcron Hotel commands the same enviable reputation as its predecessor of being the most sought-after hotel in Prague. Our hotel pays homage to the lively jazz age during which time the original Alcron Hotel was popular as a jazz hotel by hosting live jazz sessions almost every night.

The hotel is located near the Wenceslas Square, the commercial and social centre of Prague, and is surrounded by historic landmarks and trendy shops and restaurants.

Rooms

This deluxe Art Deco hotel has been meticulously restored to its former glory. Much of the interior is preserved, including the glittering chandeliers, the rich Italian marble and the creamy milk glass that can be seen throughout the hotel. There are 211 exceptionally comfortable and inviting rooms and suites with high ceilings and classic period furnishings.

Non-smoking rooms and rooms for our disabled guests are also available on request. Latest security features have been installed in every room including, smoke detectors, fire sprinkler system, an electronic lock system, as well as 24-hour security service.

Wellness and Fitness

Guests have free access to our fully-equipped fitness centre as well as the hotel's sauna and solarium. Guests can also arrange for haircuts and styling, manicures, pedicures, massages and other body and beauty treatments. The hotel also arranges sports activities such as tennis, golf and swimming.

Dining

If you would like to go backstage and learn how to prepare delectable three-course meals, including tempting appetizers, unique seafood main courses, and delicious desserts, our cooking classes conducted by Head Chef, Ji?í Štift are perfect for you. The classes begin with a welcome drink at the Be Bop Bar, followed by a demonstration and practical cooking class. Sekt (Czech champagne) and non-alcoholic drinks are available during the class. The class concludes with a course dinner and wine tasting at the La Rotonde Restaurant.
