Hotel Le Palais is now the third luxury hotel which is operated by Vienna International Hotels & Resorts in Prague. The hotel is suituated in the city centre near the Wenceslas Square. It is real treasure for sophisticated business and leisure travellers. Constructed in 1841 the original residential building was completely redesigned in the Belle Époque style between 1888 and 1897. Something deliberately 'different and of greater beauty' was to be created which would differ greatly from the imitated historicism of the art and architecture of the 19th century. Characteristic of that period and its style is the rebirth of a zest for life, of optimism and confidence - a 'new renaissance'.
