Hotel was built in 1920 in the Art Nouveau style on the famous Wenceslas Square directly in the centre of Prague. The hotel consists of two parts as its name Ambassador - Zlata Husa suggests. The history of the first one is quite straightforward in spite of the history of the second one, which is a bit funny. Tastefully furnished comfortable rooms are all airconditioned and have private marble bathrooms with jacuzzi bath and shower. All rooms are equipped with minibar, SAT TV, direct dial phone allowing conference calls up to six persons, fax, internet access, safety deposit box and hairdryer.

All 162 rooms as well as the restaurants and conference rooms came in 2004 through massive reconstruction. However, the hotel lost none of its distinction and historical significance after these extensive innovations.
